What to Wear- Bowling Group Date!

I know! Not what one would normally wear to bowling but I wanted to be comfortable and still myself. I think it's a fun and different outfit that challenges what would normally make sense together. My favorite trend right now is mixing hard with soft. For instance studded boots with lace, leather with bows, leather with a sweater, or studs with ballet pink. So fun to mix! 

What to Wear- work in the summer

This is another example for how to wear shorts to work. I bought these shorts from the J.Crew Outlet. I make sure for work purposes to buy the 5 inch shorts instead of the 3 inch that J.Crew also sells. I would normally tuck a button-up in and belt the shorts but since it's a tunic it looks fine out and more laid back.

Can you believe this is all I bought? I am on a budget and out of all the AMAZING things on sale this year these two items stood out because of the amazing price and I know they will last me forever. 

What to wear- LBD party!

LBD from Forever 21, neon pink skinny belt from J.Crew, and black jewel earrings from The Best of Everything.

I am always trying to find ways to spice up an LBD and before I left my apartment I threw on this belt.  It's amazing how much a skinny belt in a bright color can really slim everything out and break up the all black. I hardly ever belt dresses but this fit so well.

What to Wear- work in the summer

Wondering how to wear shorts to work? (only if they meet dress code!)

Make sure the shorts are long enough and loose enough so they are work appropriate. I love these shorts because they are dressy and loose but still flattering. Also I paired the shorts with a loose fitting top tucked in to slim everything out.  Finally I finish everything with closed toe and conservative shoes.

What to Wear- nighttime coffee with friends

Black sandals from DSW, black leggings from J.Crew, black sheer tunic low-high top from Forever 21, black tank under from Victoria Secret online, vintage looking silver silk jacket from Express.

Such a comfortable outfit but still fashion forward!
