Wish List

I have a small obsession with Jessica Simpson shoes.  I know they fit will and I know they are always head turning shoes.  I like the Junie clog because I am in desperate need of a great clog for fall.

I also can't stop loving keys for jewelry.  This Key Cocktail Ring from House of Harlow 1960 because it's an understated antique piece.

Another shoe brand that I love is Tory Burch.  I am obsessed with their flats because they go with everything.  But the Julianne Leopard Wedge is a neat change in pace.  I know that these will be comfortable and they are practical with the wedge.  But the leopard print makes them fun.

I have been dying to get an accessory piece from Marc Jacobs line for a long time.  They have adorable bangle bracelets and odd shaped earrings.  I really love this Sealed with a kiss Barrette because it adds spice to a simple outfit.  I think it would look cute with a LBD.

I came across this Francesca Feather Skirt from Alice + Olivia and I think it is so interesting.  The two tone of the skirt makes it look more modern.  I also love how it is styled with combat boots to show an edge with frills.

My New Favorite Things

I recently received a coupon for three free mascaras from Nordstroms.  I stopped by the SmashBox counter to pick them up and I was invited to sit down for a consultation.

Let me give you some background info on SmashBox, I use to wear the foundation back when I was in high school and the one think I loved about it was the coverage I got from it.  I eventually stopped using because back then, I wanted something lighter.

The consultant told me that they have changed their foundation to be oil-free.  She started applying the make-up to me and I kid you not I would have bought every item she had in stock if I could.  The tinted moisturizer was so smooth and light and the Photo Finish primer (which I know has won many awards) was truly amazing!  When she put the foundation on me my skin felt so soft, I looked in the mirror and my normally uneven toned face looked Angelic.

I was also really impressed with the concealer (I have litterally tried every concealer I could get my hands on and none have been able to cover up my Vampire Dark Circles).

The eyeshadow and light pink blush also impressed me.  But what was the best part of the whole experience was the O-Gloss.  She explained that it is a non-sticky lip gloss that tints your lips.  The cool part is that it tints everyone's lips a shade differently.  When she applied it to my lips, it gave them a raspberry hue that was cute and natural.

My advice, is to stop by SmashBox next time you are at Nordstroms and check out what they have.

SmashBox is also Animal Testing free, which is a must for me.
